Upcoming Williamson Youth Track Club Registration

Registration for Williamson Youth Track Club’s winter conditioning is now opened!!! Join the biggest track club in the Williamson County area for children ages 8-18.  Williamson Youth Track Club specializes in distance, middle distance, sprints, throws and jumps training and provides District, Regional, State, National, and Collegiate exposure.  Children will learn all about running and how much fun it can be!!!  We are a proven elite track club for both Cross country and Track and Field having coached several hundred children over the past 6 years bringing home numerous national medalist and developing top collegiate athletes.  We have even helped train other coaches so that they are able to develop their skills in coaching youth in track and field.

Workouts and sessions for winter conditioning will cover all aspects of running, including form and speed drills, proper stretching and running form, pacing and racing tactics, racing speed workouts, hill training, tempo runs, cross-training and more.

When: Boys and girls ages 13 and older.  Sundays 2:00pm, January 15-March 4, weather permitting. Boys and girls ages 8-12:  Sundays 3:00 January 15 to March 4, weather permitting.

Cost: $60 per athlete (This cost is non-refundable).  Registration  can be paid online on our website at www.williamsonyouthtrack.org under the “registration” page or by money order or check  (Please make all checks and money orders payable to Williamson Youth Track and mailed to: Williamson Youth Track, c/o Gary Gosch, 91 Somerton Park, Franklin, TN 37069).  All athletes who plan to register for winter conditioning must register at www.williamsonyouthtrack.org regardless if paying online on not.  Payment must be received by the first day that your child participates in winter conditioning practice.

Gary Gosch is the club’s head coach. Gary has over 36 years of running experience and has several years coaching experience at all levels, including youth running.

Indoor Track Information:  Upcoming meet   (registration ends December 30, 2011)

High School only:     January 7  2012:          Tennessee State University Indoor Track Meet (Location Tennessee State in Nashville, TN)   Starting at 8AM mile, field events; 10:30AM all other running events.

Tennessee State University Indoor Track Meet (Location Tennessee State in Nashville, TN)   Registration is now taking place online; the cost is $43 per athlete)  If you are interested please click the registration tab under the menu box on the left side of the website to register.  This is a collegiate and High School meet.

Events to be run:  HJ, LJ, TJ, SP, WT, 55m hurdles,55m, distance medley relay, 400m, 800 m, 200m, 3000m, 4x400m relay
